Mahathir continues to lie and lie.

Instead of concentrating on what his Manifesto offers, he proceeds to throw lie after lie.

Look at what he said in the launch of his Pakatan Manifesto.
----
Prime Minister Najib Razak may do away with elections so he could rule the country permanently if he wins the coming general election, warned Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

At the launch of Pakatan Harapan's election manifesto yesterday, Mahathir mused the government may possibly amend the federal constitution to abolish polls.

"We joke a little, but we are in a situation that is worrying.

Say goodbye to elections should Najib win, Mahathir warns
---
Do people really think it is so easy to abolish elections in Malaysia? Firstly the King and Royal Council must agree and even if they did, there will be a gigantic uproar from the tens of millions of Malaysians.

Is there no end to his continued lies? Has he no shame?

The person who would be much more likely to do this would be Mahathir himself.

Remember that he almost lost to Tengku Razaleigh and Musa Hitam in the 1987 UMNO elections, he then proceeded to make UMNO illegal and created a new UMNO.

Not only that, Mahathir ensured he will never be challenged again in his UMNO Baru by imposing unfair rules such as quota system and bonus votes in the UMNO elections making it impossible for anyone to even get enough nominations to challenge him.

This quota system requires those contesting for president to receive at least 30% of all divisions nominations BEFORE they even have the right to contest.

Tun M then introduced the bonus-votes system in which 10 bonus votes would be automatically added to those contesting for party president (himself !!) for every nomination they receive.

Definitely during the nominations stage, division leaders will be pressured to nominate the incumbent - hence this system essentially guarantees a win for the incumbent.

This is unlike Najib who did away with Mahathir's cheating Bonus votes and quota system and increased the number of people qualified to vote in UMNO electiosn from just 2,500 to 146,500 UMNO members.

On top of that under Najib's reformed system, anyone who received a nomination from any division can challenge for any post within UMNO - including president.

It seems like the older that Mahathir gets, the more desperate he gets and the more he lies.

Utterly despicable behaviour from someone who said he wants to be PM again.

LSS.
