He said that the programme to be held on Friday was the 'Save Malaysia Program' at Kuala Kubu Bharu, Hulu Selangor which would be attended by Anwar and several top leaders of the party.
Saifuddin Nasution said the Member of Parliament for Hulu Selangor, Datuk Dr Zainal Abidin Ahmad was currently on medical leave.
"I have communicated with his special officer, he is okay, stable. The State Assembly office had also been informed of his illness and his officer had sent his medical leave last week," he added.
