Malays Should Not Be Too Compromising

Umno vice-president Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi reminded the Malays that their compromising attitude with the other races will affect their dignity and principles.

"The Malays are too tolerant and too compromising and is slowly being pushed aside. Don't put our property and dignity on cheap sale," he said when launching the book 'Nasib Melayu di Bumi Melayu' at the National Library here Thursday.

The Defence Minister said the book by Dr Mohd Ridhuan Tee Abdullah can change the perception of the Malays as it is seen from a wide perspective.

The book is a collection of articles written by Ridhuan in Mingguan Malaysia newspaper and Al-Islam magazine.

It is sold at RM22.50 each and available at major bookstores or via the website http://www.mybooks.com.my.
