That's what they says 'the 7th ranger Agi Idup Agi Ngalaban

Seriously, now I know why he is saying that, there are substantial number of Indian voters in Bagan Datuk, who I am sure are definitely pissed off with this Minister who has a 'foot in de mouth disease'. As it is, his majority has been steadily shrinking . He can be booted out of Parliament come GE 13. He feels threatened, so he reins in, his "running poodles', I will not say dogs, as it would be insulting to dogs, I love dogs, the ever predictable MIC and the not heard of "Persatuan Bekas Angkatan Tentera India Malaysia (Perim) " to assuage the anger of the Non Malays, come a running, to do his bidding.

He definitely knows that his vote bank is shrinking. Indians of Bagan Datuk, take note it is only a statement, the facts speak for themselves, NON Malays are discriminated against when it comes to promotions. No amount of spin by Zahid Hamidi can negate that. I have argued before, that the Non Malay is ridden like a horse in the Military. One of the facts in the Malaysian Armed Forces is that those from the Royal Malay Regiment make up the bulk of Generals. If you want to go up in life join the Royal Malay Regiment but a Non Malay cannot join that unit that is fact. Unless of course you do a Mahathir.

If you are from the Ranger Corps, the Malay (and a handful of Non Malays) would probably make it up to Colonel the most a Brigadier General, in the past up to a Major General (countable with the fingers in one hand). I will not mention those Royal Malay Regiment Officers who got promoted on the Ranger Corps ticket. They are a very rare number and few in between. If you are a Malay from the Ranger Corps, you get to make it to a Three Star General. That too is a very rare achievement for a Malay, surprisingly.

You see apart from being the right race, you must also be in the right Corps. Check the history, of the MAF, none from the Ranger Corps has ever made it to Chief of Defense Forces (Four Star General). Like the Rangers are not worthy enough? There is of course my former CO who made it to Major General, Datuk Amin Md Saleh and another whom I do not know at all, Lieutenant General Datuk Effendi. In fact the Rangers are older than the Royal Malay Regiment, The Rangers are more than a CENTURY OLD (148 years) to date !!!!! They were formed in 1862 .Whereas the Royal Malay Regiment is only 77 years old.

What about this guy ? He has been a Lieutenant Colonel for 11 years. Yet to be promoted. To placate the electorate there were some recent promotions propaganda actually, "Spotlight/Non-Malays" in armed forces: Ample opportunity for the deserving to shine.

Opportunities for promotions are based on the performance of the staff, said Ahmad Zahid. "We will find several mechanisms and do further studies on the service scheme and opportunities for promotions."However, opportunities for promotions are based on performances. There is no ethnic or race quota in the forces. I would like to stress that the Malaysian armed forces are a professional body and the question of promotions should not be disputed because the final decision lies with the army board. We know that what is coming out, is between his crooked teeth….and he says that with a straight face. He has yet to squirm, grovel and apologize for insulting the Non Malays as unpatriotic. Arguing on the premise of proportionate representation, okay accepted that there are too few Chinese and Indians in the Forces, which was contributed by marginalizing them based on race and religious affiliations over the years, we have argued that many times before.

Can that argument hold water with the East Malaysians who make up approximately 20 % of the strength of the Armed Forces? No? Talking about representation, can one Iban who was recently promoted to Brigadier General, the first at that, after the Sibu "buy election" be called proportionate representation, a mere one person, in MAF history. Say it like it is, be a man, it has everything to with racism and religious bigotry. If you say proportionate representation, then 20 % of the MAF Generals should be Non Muslim Bumiputras from East Malaysia. Let us see you squirm out of this.

"There is no compromise on the requirement for admission. Or else, we will have a military service of no quality , he has the temerity to say that with a straight face. Has he any qualities as a Minister of Defense, in any other country he would have been run out of office for insulting the minorities. He said quality? Can he hold a decent conversation with the Defence Ministers of the Five Power Defense Agreement in English? But than then again we have Ministers with a third world mentality. Instead of squirming and apologizing he says, "I Did Not Mean To Hurt Feelings of Other Races" He just does not want to apologize, now he uses the MIC, to try and get back the Indian voters in Bagan Datuk. It is a little too late for that now, you vote bank as shrunk substantively. The Indians and Chinese of Bagan Datuk have taken so much insults from you. We will not take it lying down.

You can fool some of the people some of the time, not all of the people all the time.
