Berikut ialah hujah bela diri dari PKR
There is a “hair of a difference” between Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and the man in the controversial sex video, a senior PKR official said.
PKR national communications director Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad showed journalists a printout of a still picture of the man in the video allegedly recorded on Feb 21 and a picture of Anwar in a Kuala Lumpur court on Feb 22.
Saying it indicated a difference in hair thickness and style, Nik Nazmi asked the media at a press conference here yesterday: “How could his hair grow so fast within a day?”
Nik Nazmi, who is Seri Setia assemblyman, claimed the man in the video had thinner side burns with a slope, but Anwar had thick hair on his side and more hair generally.
“He has never cut his hair that short,” Nik Nazmi said.
He added that PKR is sticking to its stand that the man in the video is not Anwar.
The video was first screened before a selected audience on March 21.
It has since been shown – in staggered sequels since April 3 – over YouTube and various blogs.
YouTube removed all the clips by 11.30pm on Thursday.
PKR vice-president Tian Chua said the four new takes that were posted on the Net this week were not a different set of clips but a continuation of the earlier one, adding that the clips did not prove the man was Anwar.
“Until now, the police have not taken any action. They must take action as soon as possible against the distribution of the video,” he said.
Another PKR vice-president, Nurul Izzah Anwar, said party leaders had received SMSes from teachers in Kelantan complaining of an officer from Bukit Aman who had been telling teachers that Anwar was a threat to national security and was the man behind the video scandal.
She said she was told this had been going on for a month.
Nurul Izzah, who is Anwar’s daughter, said they would take the matter up with the police if proven true.
