Several roads around Dataran Merdeka here will be closed from Tuesday for the rehearsal and launching of Federal Territories (FT) Day 2011. A press statement from the Federal Territories and Urban Wellbeing Ministry said Jalan Hishamuddin / Jalan Raja, junction of Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman / Jalan Raja will be closed from 9.30am until 11.30am.
Roads that will be closed for rehearsals on Wednesday from 6am until noon are Jalan Raja, junction of Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman / Jalan Raja / Jalan Cenderasari / Jalan Lembah, Jalan Perdana / Jalan Damansara / Bulatan Hishamuddin, Jalan Kinabalu / Bukit Aman exit road, Jalan Leboh Pasar Besar / Jalan Tun Perak / Jalan Raja deviation / Jalan Raja Laut, Bulatan Dato' Onn exit to Jalan Parlimen.
The full-dress rehearsal will be held on Thursday from 5am until noon and the same roads will be involved.
On Saturday, Jalan Raja will be closed for the celebration and launching of the FT Day from 5am until 1pm.
