SIBU: The Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) has been strongly reminded not to interfere in Sarawak's political affairs.
State PBB youth exco member and deputy chairman of PBB youth Sibu zone Radin Kadri Radin Budiman said he supported the supreme council member Senator Datuk Idris Buang for suggesting that LDP deputy president Chin Su Pin should look after their own political affairs rather than interfering in the state's political affair.
"In fact, LDP has no right to comment in such a destructive manner on whatever political happening in our state," Radin added.
He was asked to comment on Chin's statement that SUPP's heavy loss in the April 16 state election was because Chief Minister Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud was "despised by the Chinese in Sarawak."
Idris in his statement said, it has hurt a lot of people in Sarawak, particularly the Bumiputera who appreciate and revered Pehin Sri Taib as the best chief minister Sarawak ever had.
Radin who spoke on behalf of all the branch heads and members under the PBB youth Sibu zone and PBB youth central region, called on Chin to make an open apology to the state government and particularly to Taib over the uncalled for and outrageous statement which he had made.
