'The enemies of Anwar Ibrahim predicted the he would fake an accident. How strange this was true as predicted.'

Car sabotage: 'How did Perkasa know in advance?'

AnakPinang: When PM Najib Razak said that BN will retain Putrajaya "walau berkecai tulang dan juga badan, walau bercerai jasad dari nyawa" (though bodies and bones may be crushed and bodies separated from their souls), perhaps he didn't mean his own 'badan' (body) and 'nyawa' (soul).

BN has committed atrocious crimes over the past half a century, from allowing the bloodletting of May 1969 to the deaths in MACC buildings and the murder of foreign nationals. It would not be surprising to most Malaysians that they would harm others.

They will stop at nothing to retain their positions of power as clearly stated in their supremo's speech. Anwar Ibrahim, be careful.

Dood: If the roles were reversed, as in PKR members having made the claims months ago that a certain Perkasa leader would try to fake a car accident, and then one day Ibrahim Ali discovers that his car had possibly been tampered with, you can bet the police and Umno/BN would be all over PKR.

But since this is not the case, you can expect the police to consider this investigation as 'no further action' needed.

By the way, what happened to the 'Christian conspiracy' police reports against the bloggers and Perkasa for their threats against national security? Still 'under investigation'? Or 'no further action' needed since an Umno minister had said such things are a norm so they are perfectly fine?

Lim Chong Leong: To protect themselves and to retain power, murder is not out of the question, as we have seen in one case involving Mongolian woman Altantuya Shaariibuu. And as de facto law minister Nazri Abdul Aziz would say it, since murder cases are rampant, there will be no need to investigate.

Padhil: The police should investigate the two cases - the 'car sabotage' as well as the 'kidnap threat' - very seriously or else it will a 'norm'. This is the moral duty of the police. Please don't allow the people to take the law into their own hands and make a ugly situation out of it. Be impartial.

Anonymous_3f1f: The enemies of Anwar predicted that he would fake an accident. How strange this was true as predicted. They should also predict that date when Umno/BN would lose the next general election and Anwar the next PM of Malaysia.

Isa@1penyu: Anwar knew Perkasa made the statement so he hired someone to sabotage his car to get at Perkasa. This is how PKR operates. This is just another sandiwara (drama) from Anwar to hide all the other problems he is facing.

For once, I hope Anwar will learn to tell the truth, like the Omega watch, Sabah illegal immigrants, his broken back, the infamous September 16, the list goes on. Anwar is a trademark liar.

Sulaiman: Perkasa is fast becoming a terrorist organisation. It is now terrorising every Malaysian. We have to nip this in the bud. I think it is time for every Malaysian to respond by joining the Bersih 2.0 rally on July 9. Let the mass mobilisation begins.

People Worry: Tell me, in the history of Malaysia how many politicians have come under so much harassment - imprisonment, beating, humiliation and continuous unfair treatment?

Still, Anwar is standing tall today. He is a true Malaysian hero. I would like to salute him for making us proud as Malaysians. I am also thankful to Nurul too and I hope to see her as the first female PM of Malaysia one day.

Fairness For All: Perkasa is now making up stories that Anwar wants to run away - how idiotic. Anwar has been fighting all the false accusations hurled at him for many, many years.

I believe Perkasa may have done the alleged sabotage - that's why they knew and made a report so they would not be investigated.

Defence Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamid is another leader prancing around in Parliament who does not know what he is talking about. If he thinks Nurul Izzah is making up stories, investigate the number from where the SMS came from.

No mother would make up such a story about her child just to gain sympathy. True, kidnappers will not give warning if they kidnap for a ransom. But when it's political and they want their opponent to do as they say, then they will issue a warning - such as that if you don't do this, then this will happen.

TehTarik: If the story is true, then it is another step in our 'development' into a failed state. Political assassination has never been part of our landscape, unlike countries like Pakistan.

And if this is indeed a sabotage, then we will soon be joining the ranks of Pakistan. Such nefarious ideas might have been imported via Project M, where thousands of Pakistanis were given citizenship in Sabah during the reign of Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

Concern_Father: There are three ways this could have happened:

1) Perkasa got information about the 'sabotage', then reported it.
2) Anwar saw Perkasa's report and acted upon it.

3) Perkasa wanted to 'remove' someone and then made a report about it in advance to protect themselves.

Whichever is true, Malaysian politics have reached new heights. BN and the BN media say PKR, DAP and PAS are devils. Well, I know them, and a known devil is better then a 'camouflaged' angel.
