SHAH ALAM, -Twenty-two non-governmental organisations and PAS Youth today declared their commitment to look after marginalised Muslims so as to strengthen their religious belief.
Ikatan Ilmuan Nasional President Dr Mohd Fuad Mohd Salleh who read the resolution at a round table meeting said the organisations responsible for property trust such as the tithes board should be efficient in helping such people.
"We uphold and support the efforts taken by any party to strengthen the faith and religious belief of Muslims through educational and welfare programmes," he said.
The NGOs also urged the Selangor Islamic Religious Department and other authorities to act accordingly if there were Muslims who had converted to another religion.
