Taib, who is also the state Barisan chairman, said the announcement would be made at 3pm at the Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu Sarawak (PBB), here.
"I have a meeting tomorrow morning. The announcement (of the candidates) is at 3pm," he said briefly to reporters after opening a programme at the Sukma Ria grounds, Petra Jaya, here Saturday.
Also present at the event were Taib's wife Puan Sri Ragad Waleed Al-Kurdi, and State Housing and Urban Development Minister Datuk Abang Johari Tun Openg.
On Friday, Taib had a meeting with Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak in Putrajaya, where he was believed to have handed over the list of Barisan candidates for the state election.
